Hi. This is Samantha Gregory coming to you from Atlanta, GA. I've been a part of the SharePoint world since 2004. I was introduced to the tool when I was a Technical Writer at NASA's  Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL working on a document security project.

I was the document management person and SharePoint was the tool we would be using for the project. I had some experience with document management tools like Documentum but this SharePoint was a new thing.

It was loaded on to my machine and I was instructed to go forward and conquer this beast. I managed to learn it on my own with the help of the good old help menu. Technical writers be praised!!!

Fast forward 10 years later and I'm still working on SharePoint. My role has evolved from awkward user to Business Analyst, Consultant, and now end-user Trainer. I admit that it has been a love/hate relationship as I try to bend it to my will.

I created SharePoint Darling to give my student additional training resources after our classes. I've included books, video and a SharePoint pre-planning worksheet to help SharePoint users keep what they learned fresh after the course.
